Ingredients:

  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1 carrot, diced
  • 1/2 cup peas
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sweet soy sauce (kecap manis)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 green onions, sliced for garnish

Instructions:

  • Heat the vegetable oil in a large pan over medium heat.
  • Add the minced garlic and chopped onion, sauté until fragrant.
  • Add the diced carrot and peas, stir-fry for 2 minutes until tender.
  • Push the vegetables to one side of the pan and pour in the beaten eggs, scrambling them until cooked.
  • Add the cooked rice to the pan, mixing everything together.
  • Pour in the soy sauce and sweet soy sauce, stirring well to combine.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste, and cook for another minute.
  • Garnish with sliced green onions before serving.
