🥩 Beef Curry Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 500g beef (cut into medium cubes)

  • 3 tbsp coconut oil

  • 1 large onion (sliced)

  • 2–3 green chilies (slit)

  • 1 sprig curry leaves

  • 2 tsp ginger-garlic paste

  • 2 medium tomatoes (chopped)

  • 1 tsp turmeric powder

  • 2 tsp roasted curry powder

  • 1 tsp chili powder (adjust to taste)

  • 1 tsp black pepper powder

  • 1 tsp garam masala (optional)

  • 1 cup thick coconut milk

  • 1 ½ cups water

  • Salt to taste

Method:

  1. Heat oil in a heavy pot. Add onions, green chilies, and curry leaves. Fry until golden.

  2. Stir in ginger-garlic paste, fry for a minute.

  3. Add tomatoes, chili powder, turmeric, curry powder, and pepper. Cook until tomatoes soften.

  4. Add beef pieces, mix well with spices, and cook for 5–7 minutes.

  5. Pour in water, cover, and simmer on low heat for 45–60 minutes until beef is tender.

  6. Stir in coconut milk, simmer for another 5 minutes until thick and aromatic.

  7. Garnish with extra curry leaves.

👉 Serve hot with steamed rice, string hoppers, or roti.
